If you think summer is over, think again! In my humble opinion, it’s just heating up, and I can’t think of a better way to meet new people than getting up, getting out and getting social while enjoying some fun in the sun!

Here are The Solo In the City-recommended places to go this weekend…

The most elegant garden: The Ritz Carlton. The best view of the garden and pond is at table number 90 (a table for two!) If you prefer dining in the atrium, reserve the coveted corner seat at table 60.

The trendy rooftop dinner club: Pandore. Take in the views of Montreal from the swank terrace while dining on the new menu of chef Louis Potvin.

Last weekend, DJ Abeille treated guests to her beats as we took in the view from the rooftop terrace of Pandore.

The sexy French bistro: La Société. Serving modern French cuisine, its front terrace is lined with classic bistro tables. You will feel as if you are on the streets of Paris as you people-watch while dining on their signature seafood tower.

The sweetest secret garden: Wilfred sur Laurier. A hidden gem in the heart of Outremont! Walk through their main dining room and you will discover their al fresco-style outdoor space.

The best place for solo R and R: Bota Bota. A floating spa in the old port, this is a relaxing environment that will let you SOAK in the last weeks of summer – literally! Enjoy the hot tubs and lounge areas, and have lunch or dinner on the dock. The key is to indulge yourself!
