Solo Sunday

With another week ahead of us, we should take advantage of our Sunday and find some great things to do alone in Montreal. While last week I suggested the Museum of Fine Arts and a stroll along St. Catherine, this week we are taking it indoors. The holidays are around the corner and it’s a great day to get some of your holiday shopping done. The underground malls  http://www.tourisme-montreal.org/blog/get-down-and-shop-in-the-underground-city/ let’s  you get out of the cold and into the hustle and bustle of the downtown core. It is also easy to get there by metro to avoid looking for parking. Another suggestion, is to go see a movie. Since you don’t talk to anyone during a movie (at least I hope not!) it’s a great way to spend some quality time alone. The Dollar Cinema in Decarie Square is only $2.50- Why not go see Our Brand is Crisis- a cute comedy-drama with Sandra Bullock. By the Sea with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is at Guzzo @ 1:05. In fact there are lots of great films out now, but it’s a super way to spend some alone time and get ready for the week ahead.
